Chapter 118:   <Chapter 117>

Her mind turned blank as the overwhelming sensation filled her. It was a strange yet devastating pleasure and her body vibrated uncontrollably. Silje moaned and when Kail felt her body tremble, he started to move faster in the same direction over and over again.

He moved in and out of her and Silje’s eyes started to blur in pleasure. Her mind scattered and her body exploded like fireworks.

“Ahhh!....! AAAA!”

When Silje screamed, Kail finally gave in and moaned sexily. Slowly, he collapsed on top of her.

She hated him. She hated him for making her feel this way, but her body betrayed her; she squeezed him and held him tight. The only part she could control was her nails which she used to stab his back.

“Ahhh...”

She felt ashamed and embarrassed at her own reaction. She tried to make her breaths even and she closed her eyes.

“Silje...”

He whispered her name and when she opened her eyes, Silje was still in his arms and Kail was looking down at her with his beautiful green eyes.

He hesitantly reached out to touch her naked skin. With obvious desire and need, he kissed her shoulder.

“Stop it.”

Silje coldly broke the silence and stood up to put on her clothes.

“Now that you are done, let me go. I need to leave now.”

Without looking back at him, she buttoned her jacket and Kail’s eyes quieted.

“I see that you still have that bad habit of turning people cold. You need to remember that I am the one who has all the decision power here. Don’t forget that.”

“Obviously I haven’t, but for today... I think I have done my part so I will go now. I’m sure you will call me out again soon.”

“It’s good that you know that. I will contact you with the time and place for the next meeting.”

He crossed his arms leisurely and his calm attitude angered Silje. She finished buttoning her jacket and glared at him.

“Why don’t you just stop it here? You already know everything! Knowing you, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that you are doing this to me, but just stop! You said the truth doesn’t matter at this point, right? You know I’ve betrayed you, so what is it that you think you will gain from this? Answer me!”

“Do you still not get it? What I want is for you to feel the pain. What you feel now is not even a fraction of the despair and anger I felt during the last five years since you left me. I will corner you and take you until you understand what I went through. So you should look forward to our second encounter. I hope you do better next time.”

Kail put on his suit calmly as if nothing had happened, and Silje glared at him icily. When he started to walk towards the door, she couldn’t believe it. He was going to leave her here.

“Wait!” Silje screamed at his back.

“You are the one who dragged me here! So I will be the one leaving this place. I don’t want to be left in this horrible place.”

Without looking back at her, Kail answered, “Oh well, this is what you did to me five years ago, so let’s see how YOU feel when you are left behind. Have fun, Silje. See you later.”

He closed the door behind him, and left alone in the penthouse, Silje laughed hollowly.

Her laughter filled the dark empty place and she closed her eyes slowly.

The first battle was over.

Her lips were still bleeding, and Silje thought she was the only one who was hurt, but what she didn’t see was that Kail’s back was bleeding as well from her scratches.

– This weekend. 9 AM. 5th hotel Bella Fontaine.

A few days later, Silje got a text from him. It was on a late Wednesday night. She finished her busy schedule that day and when she checked her cell phone, she saw the message.

Silje wasn’t surprised.

It was Kail.

He sent her a text message on her cell, as if to show her that it was easy for him to obtain her information. He was in control.

Again, Silje had no intention of avoiding him. She was ready for it. Glaring at the message on her phone, she decided that she would take him on. This time, she was going to regain her control and not lose.

“Ingrid, my stepmother, did she force you into it? Or did you want it too, Silje? Answer me!”

When she returned home that night after Kail found her, she couldn’t move for a while. Her heart ached and the shock of seeing him again was too much for her to process.

She wanted to answer him that it was all Ingrid. Silje wanted to scream at him that she never wanted to lose their baby.

However, she quickly realized that it wouldn’t change anything. Their relationship was already over, so what was the point of explaining what happened?

He came to find her like the grim reaper. Silje didn’t want to show tears in front of him or give him a sappy excuse. It was better to continue to hate each other like this so that they could get on with their own lives.

Silje put on a white one-piece fur dress and a white mink shawl on top. Her hair now reached her shoulders and she used hair wax to pull it back in a sleek style.

Click, click.

The white high heels she wore made a distinct sound as she walked. It was one of her favorite pairs with romantic white roses on them.

Silje headed towards the meeting place.

Union Square, Flatiron District & Gramercy.

The Flatiron building. It was a triangular steel-framed landmark building in New York surrounded by luxury boutique and high-rises.

Silje arrived at the hotel that had a distinct European atmosphere. She walked in, thinking she could guess what to expect. She anticipated the same scenario as the last encounter, but it turned out that she was wrong.

Instead of meeting him in a hotel room, Kail was waiting for her at the coffee shop. People were glancing at him secretly as usual, which annoyed Silje.

His hair was combed back in a clean style and he was wearing a neat white shirt and gray pants. With a dull black belt, Silje had to admit that he looked striking. When they were still in school, Kail used to enjoy the military look with a khaki coat and navy colored outfits, but it seemed that his taste had changed.

His soft-looking gray coat looked expensive, and Kail looked amazing overall.

Silje confidently walked towards him, and unbeknownst to her, she also commanded the crowd’s attention.

“You came. Have a seat.”

A short and efficient order. Silje quickly glanced at him before taking a seat. A faint smile appeared briefly on Kail’s face before it disappeared just as quickly.

“You are on time. I like it.”

“...What were you doing?”

She tried to look calm, but Kail could tell how nervous she was. His eyes narrowed as he replied, “As you can see, I have been waiting for you.”
